Great piece. It looks like you put a lot of work into it. The grate in the cell ceiling seems a little too sharp and clean compare to the surrounding painting, but that's my only crit. Looking forward to seeing more.

I'll admit to this (and I don't like using this generalized term) "style" not being my favorite type of artwork, but with this image you have definately won me over to your technique. I happened to read the entire book before it was made into a movie, and as you've captured their essence is how I saw these characters with my mind's eye. I cannot think of a higher compliment to give to an artist.

hi infernovball: the atmosphere and setting are instantly recognisable, which is a good thing. However, I find Tom Hanks' caricature not really hitting the mark. Perhaps the bottom half of the face could have been chubbier. Michael Clarke Duncan's is well done, but I think his body could use some gorrilla-like definition (i.e. really broad shoulders and really wide V-shape) because Michael Clarke Duncan has the physical attribute of one!
